Wishing Well

This is a photograph of a well in front of my house that I took.

Open Shoot

These are the flowers that are starting to grow in my front yard.

This is my glove and a sotball in it on the pitcher's mound.

"Unstoppable"

The word that I chose to do is Unstoppable. It is a song by Rascal Flatts and I think that it is an amazing song, which is why I decided this is my word.

Photo Essay

1-The photographer used a candid photograph.
2-The photograph is better in color because you can see the true colors of the dog, and the surroundings that make it stick out.
3-The photos have good framing because they draw in the viewers eyes to keep looking.
4-I did not see any backlighting in this photograph. The lighting overall was used very well, and the photo was taken around mid day.
5-The narration and text is used to tell things about the dogs and why they will be in the dog show.
6-The photos stand alone because then they can all be viewed as an individual by themselves, and not as a whole. They wouldn't be classified as 'dogs' in a dog show, they would be classified as a dog in the dog show.
7-My reaction to this photo, http://www.time.com/time/photogallery/0,29307,1964301_2065309,00.html, was that I really like the dog and all the other dogs in the essay. All of them have their own style and are all different breeds. Not all photo essays illicit a reaction to the readers.

This is a staged photograph of the Footprints In The Sand poem, written by Carolyn Joyce Carty.

This is a photograph I took of water running off of the hill by my house. I like the way the water runs down because of the way the rocks are formed underneath them.

This is a photograph of the creek behind my house. I like it because I love how the water is coming down the creek.
